Ormond Beach Villas has opened at 5527-5567 Saviers Road, in Oxnard. Many Mansions developed the project to aid Veterans and homeless Veterans, particularly non-elderly persons with disabilities transitioning out of institutional settings and at risk of becoming homeless. The project received funding through the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura and Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura.
New townhomes have been approved for 5489 Saviers Road, in Oxnard. JBGR Investments is the developer for the project. Four of the units will be low income housing. For incentives, there will be a reduction in the required front yard setback from 25 feet to 15 feet, and a reduction in the required interior yard space requirement of 30% to 16%.
The “Beachwalk” project has been approved for Oxnard, at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Fifth Street. The development has also been referred to as “Northshore at Mandalay Bay” or, “North Shore Subdivision Specific Plan.” SunCal is the latest developer for a site, which has been in the works since the 1990’s, when it was originally proposed as a mixture of residential, commercial, and tourism facilities.
Units are continuing to rise in the phased opening of Shore Line 50, at 5001 West Wooley Road, in Oxnard. The site is less than a mile from the beach. Williams Homes is behind the development. The site was previously referred to as Anacapa Townhomes in some documents.
The massive development, entitled “Teal Club,” remains on the boards for the City of Oxnard. The proposal is by Borchard Property Co-Owners. Plans call for 990 new dwelling units and 60,000 square feet of commercial space.
