A new mixed-use project is being constructed at 2455 South Overland Avenue in Rancho Park, Santa Monica. The project proposal includes constructing a new six-story building offering spaces for commercial and residential uses. The project site previously housed a shuttered mall, Westside Pavillion. Los Angeles-based GPI Companies is the project developer. MVE + Partners is responsible for the designs.
A new residential project has been proposed for development at 2330 Westwood Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story structure offering residential units and onsite parking. The project will replace the commercial building on the site. Plus Architects is responsible for the designs.
Framing is starting to rise at 2405 South Hauser Boulevard in West Adams. The project will bring denser housing and a couple of low-income housing units to the area. The site previously hosted smaller residential buildings. Westside Contractors are currently working on the project.
The exterior of 3960 South Grand View Boulevard is taking shape in Mar Vista on the Westside of Los Angeles. By Community Corp. of Santa Monica, the project is their first venture outside of Santa Monica and part of a larger plant to expand throughout the Westside. They have entitled the project “Vista Ballona.”
1500 South Granville Avenue was recently completed in Santa Monica. The project was developed by CIM Group, and then sold to UCLA for student housing. The 2.6-acre lot used to be a car dealership. The address is the second half of the project, 11800 Santa Monica Boulevard was completed earlier, and currently hosts a Target, as well as other retail and housing on the upper levels.
