Exterior finishing is progressing at 11955 West Culver Boulevard, in Del Ray, Los Angeles. The site will bring a mix of retail, denser housing, and a couple of low-income housing units to the area. 4460 Inglewood LLC is listed as the project applicant, which is managed by Thomas Turley.
The building will be five stories high with 24,400 square feet of floor. It will be 60 feet tall, 133 feet long, 40 feet wide. Iside the upper levels, there will be 24 apartments, some of which will have lofts. Three of the units will fall under the very low-income housing tier. The site received a 35 percent density bonus.
At grade, there will be 620 square feet of commercial space as well as parking. Additional parking will be available in one level of the subterranean garage. Overall there will be room for 4 compact, 2 disabled, and 24 standard car spaces, and 26 long-term and 4 short-term bicycle parking spaces. Overall, 900 square feet of landscape will enhance the atmosphere.
Mika Design Group is the architectural firm behind the project. Designs feature a rooftop lounge area with views of the city. The permit valuation, at the time of filing, was $4 million.
