A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 11905 Wilshire Boulevard in Brentwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new seven-story multifamily building offering spaces for residential and retail uses. The new complex will replace a vacant building on the site.
Nirup Venkatachalam of Radha Hotels USA is the project applicant. Carrier Johnson + Culture is designing the project.

Construction for a new multifamily housing is making progress at its site. In September 2022, the project applicant filed plans with the City of Los Angeles seeking approvals to redevelop a vacant building and parking lot with a new seven-story building featuring spaces for residential and retail uses. 11905 Wilshire, the seven-story building will offer 81 studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments above roughly 3,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Plans also call for 105 parking spaces located at-grade and in one subterranean level.
Requested entitlements include density bonus incentives, which would enable the construction of a larger building that is allowed by zoning rules. Nine of the new apartments are to be set aside for rent as very low-income affordable housing in exchange for the incentives. While plans call for an exterior of smooth stucco and glass, design flourishes depicted in earlier entitlement plans have been swapped out for a more modest contemporary building. Left unchanged are plans for on-site on-site amenities, including a gym, a plaza, and two outdoor decks.
Once approved, construction of the project is expected to occur over a roughly 24-month period. The environmental study was based on a timeline between 2023 and 2025, although that may not reflect the eventual schedule for construction.
