Affordable Housing Available At 2721 Wilshire Boulevard In Westlake, Los Angeles

Construction is now complete for an affordable housing project proposed at 2721 Wilshire Boulevard in Westlake, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of. The affordable housing project replaced a surface parking lot adjacent to the historic Bryson building.

Los Angeles Housing Partnership and Richman Group are the project developers. AO is responsible for the designs. McCormack Baron Salazar is the project developer.

Almost two years construction, the project site now sparks with a new six-story structure featuring a white exterior. Named the Bryson IIAO, the new affordable housing complex consists of 64 apartments reserved for households earning between 30 and 50 percent of the area’s median income level. Roughly half of the apartments are to be set aside for formerly unhoused individuals.

The apartment complex offers a mix of studios and one-bedroom dwellings, ranging from 313 to 638 square feet in size. Onsite residential amenities include an on-site laundry facility, case management offices, a fitness center, a rooftop deck, and a common room. Parking for 20 vehicles is also proposed on the site.

The project site sits across the street from Lafayette Park.
