A new hotel project has reached completion at its site located at 550 Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. The project proposal includes the development of a new hotel building offering 194 guest rooms and commercial space. The project replaced a surface parking lot on the site.
Welcome Group, Inc is listed as the project developer. While WATG served as the project’s entitlement architect, AXIS Architecture is now serving as the hotel’s architect of record. R.D. Olson. is the project’s general contractor.

Construction has been in its full swing, making a new hotel project almost ready. Named AC Hotel by Marriott will bring 194 guest rooms above 5,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Plans also call for a rooftop bar.

The project is a new podium-type building with an exterior designed in stone, faux wood, and glass.
The hotel is on time for its inauguration in 2025.
