1000 West Temple is nearing structural height in Downtown Los Angles. The massive development by GH Palmer Associates will bring 1,150 units to the area. Like their other developments, it will have an Italian Renaissance-inspired appearance. It is being built out in phases on the ten-acre property.
The building will be seven stories high with two basement levels. It will be 85 feet tall, 990 feet long, and 490 feet wide. There will be 128,6091 square feet of floor and 68,371 square feet of landscape. Inside there will be studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, Some of which will have private street-level entries. They will range in price from $1,825 to $2,124.
Amenities for the site include a personal business center, library, landscaped pool and spa, lounging areas, gym, and tanning and massage facilities. Below grade, there will be 875 compact, 43 disabled, and 1137 standard parking stalls. 1162 long-term and 127 short-term bicycle parking spaces are also included in the plans.
Standout features for the site include a regulation size tennis court and an indoor regulation basketball court with provisions for indoor volleyball. At the time of filing, the permit valuation for the project was $255 million. According to signage on the property, residents will be able to move in starting in the summer of this year. The site is also referred to as 300 North Beaudry Avenue.
