Renderings have been revealed for a supportive housing project at 1808 S. Saint Andrews Place in Harvard Heights. The project proposal includes remodeling a century-old house into eight residential units and constructing a new three-story apartment building on the property’s backyard.

Los Angeles-based architecture firm, Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects (LOHA), is managing the design concepts and construction. Clifford Beers Housing is the developer invested in the project.

Named St. Andrews 1808, the three-story development will house twelve apartments, each averaging 350 square feet in size. The units will feature a kitchenette and a bathroom. The apartments will be offered to households earning at or below 15 percent, 30 percent, 45 percent, and 60 percent of the area median income level.

The conceptual plan and design are such that it will connect the old and new construction through the addition of a single-story community room and a rooftop deck. The architecture style is expressed in a corrugated metal paneled facade and pitched roof.

The estimated date of project completion has not been announced yet.
