More than three years after breaking ground, a new multifamily residential complex is available on the market. Named The Fitz on Fairfax, the project will bring 53 residential units to a five-story building. The residences will be offered as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. The property will reserve 12 units as affordable housing for low-income households. A subterranean parking garage will be designed on the site. Floor areas range from 893 square feet to 1,615 square feet in size. According to a leasing website, monthly rent is estimated between $4,600 to $8,150.

The Fitz consists of four interconnected buildings separated by a series of courtyards. At the time of the project’s groundbreaking, Palisades stated that its design was inspired by the work of Irving Gill, the lost Dodge House on Kings Road. The low-rise complex features a rooftop pool deck and a club room, among other amenities.

The project is located near the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Fountain Avenue.
