A new mixed use project is planned for 3700 Riverside Drive, in Burbank. The state review period is expected to end in the middle of January, 2022. If approved, it will bring 49 new units to the area, as well as some commercial space. Toledo Homes is the developer behind the proposal.
The site, with several structures, including car wash, will be demolished to make way for the development. It will be six stories tall, and 82,700 gross square feet. 64,800 square feet will be residential space, and 2000 square feet commercial space.
Restaurant and retail use will be on the ground floor. The condominiums above will ranging in size from 900 to 2,200 gross square feet. 18 will be one bedroom, 27 will be two bedroom, and 4 will be three bedroom layouts. Four units will be affordable housing for very low income households.
Amenities will include a pocket park and lobby. There will be 90 on-site parking spaces, composed of a 29 space surface parking lot and a 61 space subterranean garage. 10 of the surface parking spaces will be reserved for commercial use, while the rest will be for residents. Struere is behind the contemporary design, which was inspired by the film industry.
