A development is planned for the Southeast corner of Agoura and Cornell Roads, in Agoura Hills. The project, by Doron Gelfand and Ossie Ben Tov, of Agoura and Cornell Roads LP, plan to develop the site with a variety of new uses. It will include 47,900 square feet of dwelling units, 17,800 square feet of office space, and 25,000 square feet of retail.
The site is five and a half acres and is made of 24 parcels. There will be seven buildings at the location, ranging in height from 30 to 45 feet tall. The 35 residential units will be spread out through the location.
Over half the site, nearly three acres, will be open space. There will be a mixture of enclosed and open parking, with 183 enclosed, 67 on-site, and 51 street spaces. Handicap spaces will be available in each type.
Heathcote and Associates is the architectural firm behind the design. Plans will incorporate elements of the California Green Code. The project will include roadway improvements to the sections of Agoura Road and Cornell Road adjacent to the site, including new sidewalks, curb and gutter placement, and additional on-street parking spaces.
