Cambria Hotel Opens at 26400 Rondell Street, in Calabasas

The “Cambria Hotel,” has opened at 26400 Rondell Street, in Calabasas. It brings 127 hotel rooms to the area. The project, by Rondell Hotel, LLC, is the lone structure of comparative size on the street, largely surrounded by preserved, undeveloped land. The location is at the top of Las Virgenes Canyon.

The lot is about four acres. The building is four stories tall, with 73,000 square feet of floor. Onsite amenities include a pool, gym, and breakfast area. There is also a full service restaurant that seats 50 people, and has an alcohol license.

There are 151 on-site surface level parking spaces. Five spaces are dedicated for trail users, and six are set aside for the bus stop. Part of the construction agreement included improved access to the Anza Trail, including an ADA compliant path, signage, and trash and recycle bins.

The site meets the “Monterey” style architectural standard for the location. Nadel Architects are behind the design. The property is adjacent to the 101 freeway onramp and is a 15 minute drive from Surfrider Beach. It aims to attract both business travelers and families visiting Calabasas or Malibu.
