A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 3812 West Adams Boulevard in Jefferson Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal pitches 88 residential units through Mayor’s Executive Directive 1. If approved, the proposed affordable housing will replace a small apartment building on the site which was built in the 1940s.

Orion Housing is the project developer. JPark Architects is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the construction of a new six-story structure offering 88 apartments above ground-floor parking. Plans call for a mix of low-income and moderate-income apartments, as well as one market-rate manager’s unit. The project is being processed using the streamlined entitlement pathway created by the Mayor’s Executive Directive 1.

Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style building. A project application has been submitted for initial study. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
