A new mixed-use project is under construction taking shape and form at 10425 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The project proposal included the development of a new five-story building offering spaces for residential and retail uses. The project replaced two small commercial buildings on the site.

David Hanasab is the project developer. Mika Design Group is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes bringing 43 apartments and ground-floor retail space into a five-story building. The five-story will rise to a height of 67 feet. A parking garage will also be developed as a part of the project.

Project approvals included Transit Oriented Communities affordable housing incentives, permitting a larger structure than zoning rules would normally allow in exchange for the provision of five units of extremely low-income affordable housing.

The mixed-use will be situated on a property site located west of Beverly Glen Boulevard. The estimated construction timeline and market availability have not been revealed yet.
