A new residential project is under construction taking shape and form at 2620-2622 South Monmouth Avenue in University Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of housing offering ten apartments and onsite parking. The project replaced a single-story building on the site.
City records list Paras Bhakta as the project applicant. Culver City-based Colega Architects is responsible for the designs.
Permits were released to allow the construction of a new multifamily residential building near USC. The scope of work includes the construction of a new three-story building offering 10 apartments. The apartments will be designed as multi-level, three-bedroom floor plans. Onsite amenities include a gym on the ground floor. Parking for 37 vehicles will also be provided on the site.
Renderings reveal an exterior designed in brick veneer, precast concrete, and stucco. The estimated construction timeline and market availability have not been revealed yet. The project site is located on adjacent site near Hoover Street and Adams Boulevard in University Park.
