A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1531 Sawtelle Boulevard in Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new multi-family residential development offering nine residential units. Once approved, the project will require the demolition of an existing commercial building and an adjacent parking lot.
An entity affiliated with Tripalink is listed as the project developer. 64North is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new five-story building offering nine units. The units will be designed as a mix of three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom floor plans.
No on-site parking is proposed. The contemporary building facade will be capped by a rooftop amenity deck.
Approval is required for density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, one of the apartments would be set aside for rent by very low-income housing.
A project review meeting has been scheduled on January 23, where Los Angeles City Planning Commission will review the submitted staff report and project plans.
The project site is located just north of Santa Monica Boulevard in the Sawtelle neighborhood.
