Three months after breaking ground, a new high-rise residential project is expanding vertically at 3545 Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of two high-rise buildings offering 400+ residential units, restaurant and retail spaces, and onsite parking.
Koreatown-based Jamison Services is the project developer. Gruen Associates is responsible for the design concepts.
The project will be developed on parcel with frontage on Ardmore Avenue to the east and 6th Street to the north. Plans call for the development of a total of 428 apartments, 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, and an 850-car parking garage. The project is a 22-story building and a 14-story building facing Wilshire and 6th Street, respectively. With a garage designed in-between, the two buildings will include roof decks, a dog park, fitness centers, a club room, co-working spaces, a game room, a private screening room, and an indoor golf range.
Construction is on pace to be completed within approximately 22 months since groundbreaking. The towers will be located next to the Wilshire/Normandie station.
