Los Angeles City Council has approved affordable housing projects at two sites in North Hills and Eagle Rock. The project proposals will bring in a total of 113 apartments.
A new residential project is under construction at 20116-20128 Sherman Way in Winnetka, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a supportive housing complex featuring 89 apartments. Plans call for the demolition of a series of automobile repair shops. Hollywood Community Housing Corporation and GTM Holdings are the project developers. Lahmon Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
Two years after breaking ground, an affordable housing project has cut the ribbon at 2375 West Washington Boulevard in Harvard Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a supportive housing complex for seniors, replacing a surface parking lot between Gramercy Place and Wilton Place. Hollywood Community Housing Corporation is the project developer. Kevin Daly Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Work has finished at 1856 South Wilton Place, in Harvard Heights, Los Angeles. The development is intended for low-income and homeless seniors. Hollywood Community Housing Corporation was elected to lead the new building plans as one of the first developments to utilize city-sponsored supportive housing, Prop HHH. The project has been entitled “Gramercy Place Apartments.”
