42 Townhomes Planned At 9829 La Serna Drive In Whittier

A new multi-family residential project has been proposed at 9829 La Serna Drive in Whittier. The project proposal includes the development of 42 townhomes on a vacant site. The property was previously home to a Marie Callendar’s restaurant. Newport Beach-based Mission Pacific Land Company is the project developer. William Hezmalhalch Architects is responsible for the design concepts. Hermann Design Group is the landscape architect for the project, designing its central recreation area and dog park.

Townhomes at 195 Simi Village Drive have been completed, in Simi Valley. The project, by Landsea, is made of 37 separate buildings, ranging in from three to seven attached units, bringing 211 new homes to the area. It has been titled “The Westerly.” The 17 acre site used to stage Simi Valley Days, corn crops, and seasonal pumpkin and Christmas tree lots.

New Townhomes Approved for Corner of Glenn Drive and Chapel Drive, in Camarillo

New townhomes have been approved for the Southeast corner of Glenn Drive and Chapel Drive, in Camarillo. Gregory N. Bryant is behind the architectural design. The majority of the buildings will be white in color, with dark brown beams, dark brick red awnings, and metal accents. The look is defined as, “Santa Barbara Style.” It includes elements such as sand stucco finish, clay tile roof, decorative metal rails, decorative cornices, Spanish style ceramic tiles, decorative corbels, fabric awnings, and stone veneer.
