New townhomes have been approved for 5489 Saviers Road, in Oxnard. JBGR Investments is the developer for the project. Four of the units will be low income housing. For incentives, there will be a reduction in the required front yard setback from 25 feet to 15 feet, and a reduction in the required interior yard space requirement of 30% to 16%.
A new residential project is under construction at 2500 Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena. The project proposal includes the development of townhomes on a site replacing a single-tenant commercial building. Local firm G3 Urban is the project developer.
A new multi-family residential project has been proposed at 9829 La Serna Drive in Whittier. The project proposal includes the development of 42 townhomes on a vacant site. The property was previously home to a Marie Callendar’s restaurant. Newport Beach-based Mission Pacific Land Company is the project developer. William Hezmalhalch Architects is responsible for the design concepts. Hermann Design Group is the landscape architect for the project, designing its central recreation area and dog park.
Townhomes at 195 Simi Village Drive have been completed, in Simi Valley. The project, by Landsea, is made of 37 separate buildings, ranging in from three to seven attached units, bringing 211 new homes to the area. It has been titled “The Westerly.” The 17 acre site used to stage Simi Valley Days, corn crops, and seasonal pumpkin and Christmas tree lots.
New Townhomes have been proposed for the Northeast corner of Pleasant Valley and Lewis Roads, in Camarillo. Williams Homes, of Santa Clarita, is listed as the developer for the project. Several extensions have been filed delaying the project, although plans were approved in 2016.
