Ground has been broken at 1320 West Jefferson Boulevard, in Exposition Park. The project is in development by Prime Place, a developer based out of Kansas. The firm has a portfolio largely centered back east, and focusing on student housing.

The building will be six stories high, with 101,700 square feet of floor. It will be 67 feet tall, 246 feet long, 105 feet wide. Inside, there will be 129 units, totaling in 270 bedrooms. The site received a 52 unit density bonus for including 13 low-income housing units.

There will be two levels of garage parking below grade. Inside, there will be 6 compact, 3 disabled, and 65 standard car spaces. There will also be 132 long-term and 13 short-term bicycle parking spaces. A bus stop, less than a block away, provides additional transportation to and from the location.

Prime Design, an affiliate of Prime Place, did the architectural work. Designs include 11,300 square feet of landscaped space. The site is expected to open in 2022. The permit valuation, at time of filing, was $20.5 million.
