Los Angeles Department of City Planning is reviewing plans for constructing small lot houses at 4200 East Willimet Avenue in Atwater Village, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the demolition of three houses built between the 1910s and 1940s and the construction of a new small lot subdivision.

M-RAd Architecture is responsible for the design concepts and construction of the project. West Hollywood-based Ralph Berger, LLC is listed as the property owner and the project applicant.

The project calls for razing three single-family homes at 4176-4200 East Willimet Avenue and constructing eight townhome-style residences. Each house will have three stories and span an area between 1,659 square feet and 1,717 square feet. The floor plans showcase three bedrooms, two-car garages, and rooftop decks for all houses.

The facades will be treated with metal and stucco. The estimated date of project completion has not been announced yet.

The property site is located a block south of Chevy Chase Drive in Atwater Village, neighboring other residential properties. The residents can find a Costco, a Best Buy, and other retail and grocery stores nearby.

  1. My family and I have owned our property on this street since 1998, we’ve witnessed the demolition of the original properties to this new designed cr*p with endless nonstop construction starting at 5AM and disrupting our street. Stop building these new designs and leave our neighborhood alone. What is this cr*p??? The street already has absolutely NO parking whatsoever for people who have had seniority before this ever came into existence. Now we have to worry even MORE about parking issues? Not to mention the endless traffic that it is going to cause as if this street was not affected by bad traffic enough? Go build this somewhere else in the Griffith Park / Los Feliz area and leave us alone
