The building will be 68 feet tall with 44,300 square feet of floor area. There will be six stories above grade. The upper floors will have a mix of 45 studio, 14 one bedroom, and one two bedroom units. One of the units will be a manger’s unit, and the rest will fall under the low income tier. Many of the units will have balconies.

Resident amenities will include a community room with a kitchenette, social services offices, and a courtyard. There will be 14 automobile parking spaces and 48 long-term bicycle parking spaces in the subterranean garage. Five short-term bicycle parking spaces will be on the ground floor inside the front yard setback.

The Architects Collective is behind the design, which aims to be dramatic and angular. An exterior stair and an elevator tower were included in the plans. A standout feature will be the views of Los Angeles, Griffith Observatory and the mountains beyond. The site was previously a two-story homeless shelter with a supportive services building. The new building is expected to start leasing in 2023.
