Apartment waiting lists have opened at 151 South Olive Street, in Downtown Los Angeles. The project has been titled “The Grand LA,” but the residential tower is specifically named “The Grand by Gehry,” after Frank Gehry, the renowned architect behind the project. The long anticipated, double towers, are situated directly across the street from the Disney Concert Hall, which Gehry also designed.

The residential tower reaches 45 stories tall. It is 480 feet in height and has 949,200 square feet of floor. When interiors are completed, 436 luxury residential apartments will be inside, including 113 ultra-premium residences on the tower’s uppermost floors. Layouts will include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedrooms crowned by a penthouse collection.

Apartment will have views of the Downtown Los Angeles Skyline, as well as the Hollywood Hills. Twenty percent of the units will be affordable housing. Parking will support 1,063 spaces, including valet parking.

There will also be 309 hotel guest rooms. Residents will benefit from both indoor and outdoor amenities. They will include in-home services, exclusive local access, and on-site programming. Related Companies, headquartered in New York, is the developer of the project.
