A new infill residential project has been approved for construction at 10756 Wilkins Avenue in Westwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story infill development offering residential units and onsite parking. The project will replace an existing single-family residence on the site.
FIN Holdings LLC and Wilkins Group LLC–affiliates of Anaheim-based Keystone Builders Inc and Los Angeles-based Lumar Corporation are listed as the project developer. Labyrinth Design Studio is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a wedge-shaped parcel neat Wilkins Avenue and Ohio Avenue, toward north of the Mormon church’s immense Los Angeles Temple. The scope of work includes the construction of a five-story building offering 11 apartments and parking for seven vehicles.
An updated density bonus filing permits a slightly larger building, with Planning Commission approval. In exchange for development incentives, two apartments would be set aside for rent at the very low-income level.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure featuring an interesting form. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
