The exterior of 3960 South Grand View Boulevard is taking shape in Mar Vista on the Westside of Los Angeles. By Community Corp. of Santa Monica, the project is their first venture outside of Santa Monica and part of a larger plant to expand throughout the Westside. They have entitled the project “Vista Ballona.”
3827 South Frances Avenue has opened in Mar Vista. Pacific Empire Builders was the primary contractor on the project, which has been entitled Geneva Pacific. The site brings denser housing to the area, which previously contained smaller, single-level residential buildings.
An affordable housing project has neared its sixth and final stage in completing the wood framing at 3960 Grand View Boulevard in Mar Vista, Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the construction of 50 affordable housing units with onsite amenities. Named, Vista Ballona, the project is being developed by Community Corp. of Santa Monica. FSY Architects is managing the design concept and construction.
Construction has topped out at 12575 Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista, Los Angeles. The structure, in development by LaTerra, will bring more housing to the Venice Mar Vista Arts District, recently created by the City of Los Angeles. The site was purchased in 2019. The location is a short drive from Google, Facebook, Apple, Amazon Studios, and Sony.
