A new affordable housing project has reached completion at its project site located at 2400 Long Beach Boulevard in Midtown Long Beach. The project proposal included the construction of a new five-story mixed-use apartment complex offering spaces for affordable housing and commercial uses. The project replaced a school bus parking lot.
Meta Housing Corp is the project developer. The Architects Collective is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work included the construction of a new five-story building offering 194 apartments above commercial space on the ground floor. The commercial space spans an area of 5,622 square feet. The apartment complex also features a central courtyard.

The apartments are designed as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. The units are available for households earning between 30 and 70 percent of the area’s median income level.
