A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1437 6th Street in Downtown Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the construction of a new 18-story high-rise residential tower offering 170+ apartments, residential amenities, and onsite parking.
Madison Realty Capital is listed as the project developer. Ottinger Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new 18-story building offering 172 residential. The units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. Out of the total, 26 units will be reserved as affordable housing units. Additionally, a two-level subterranean parking garage will also be designed.
The building is proposed to rise to a height of 185 feet. Onsite amenities include a rooftop pool deck.
The project was initiated as a Builder’s Remedy project. The project site is located mid-block between Broadway Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard. The estimated market availability has not been announced yet.
