“The Rise,” at 1331 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood, has started pre-leasing. The project is by Rescore. It will bring 369 new apartments to the area and 2,872 square feet of commercial space.
The building is 103 feet tall, 234 feet wide, and 465 feet long. It has 344,686 square feet of floor. It is seven stories high, with a mezzanine on one level and two levels of basement below. 13 of the apartments inside have joint live/work quarters, and 20 are housing inventive units. There is room for 371 long-term and 40 short-term bicycle parking spaces and 142 compact, 13 disabled, and 441 standard car parking spaces.
The location features many amenities. There is a lobby with a concierge, co-working space, private conference rooms, and a mailroom with package lockers. For exercise, there is a fitness center with a yoga and spin studio. The site includes an outdoor deck and lounge, a pool table and outdoor grills, a saltwater pool, and a spa for relaxation spaces.
Nadel Architects are behind the design, which has a unique layout. There is an intentional crack in the building that opens up views of the Hollywood Sign and an existing street that runs through the building. $64.2 million was the initial permit valuation.
