Non-profit developer Community Corp announced that construction has started for a mixed-use affordable housing project at 2120 Lincoln Boulevard in Ocean Park, Santa Monica. Named Pacific Landing, the project will consist of residential units with retail space on the ground floor. Tighe Architecture is managing the design concept and construction.

The project site spans across an area of 14,160 square feet. The residential project is a four-story structure housing 37 apartments, offered as a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units. The retail space reserved at the ground floor will cover an area of 459 square feet. A parking space with a capacity of twenty-nine cars is also provided. A rooftop deck with various residential amenities and a community room are also proposed.

The site plan features a T-shaped interior courtyard around which the residential building will be developed. The contemporary style site will also feature sculptural forms composed of cement, plaster, and metal panel.

I live 5 miles from this place. I havent drove by it lately, but in september, 2022, it still wasnt finished. I have asked 5 times in this yimby comments section when will it be finished. I sub to Yimby, and no one from yimby ever fanswers any questions from commenters. SMH. No one at Yimby fanswers! But the leasing is done by Community Corp. in Santa Monica.

By the way…anyone interested in this…FYI…it is on Lincold Blvd in Santa Monica. Lincoln Blvd is always, yes, always, bumper to bumper traffic. The 10 freeway is off of Lincoln. Santa Monica pier and beaches are within four blocks of this building. There are plenty of homeless hobos to keep you feeling warm and fuzzy (asin moldy) inside. Traffic on Lincoln Blvd is a 8itch.
