Facade installation is nearly complete for “Alta Ink,” a residential development at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project is by Wood Partners. It will bring street-front commercial space and additional multi-family housing to Hollywood.
The building is seven stories high. It is 86 feet tall, 259 feet long, and 162 feet wide, with 166,000 square feet of floor. 161 apartments will be in the upper levels. There will be two levels of above-ground garage and retail, and 2 levels of basement garage below, which will contain 53 compact, 7 disabled, and 205 standard parking stalls, and 87 long-term and 12 short-term bicycle parking spaces.
Amenities for the site include a salon with private dining, gathering areas, a catering kitchen, a conference suite, and workspaces library, and a pet spa. There will be a fitness suite with a separate yoga studio. The outdoors will have an event space with audio/visual capabilities and a garden and veranda with a movie screening area, spa, and water feature.
Carrier Johnson + CULTURE designed the structure with steel stairs and a metal exterior, with 2,000 square feet of landscape. The permit valuation at the time of filing was $40 million. The project is on track to be completed this year.
