The project proposal includes a residential complex that will replace three existing buildings located south of Olympic Boulevard. Texas-based real estate firm South Bay Partners is the project developer. Rios and VTBS Architecture have teamed up and are managing the design concepts and construction.

Framing is starting to rise at 200 Washington Boulevard, in Historic South-Central, Los Angeles. It will bring various levels of low-income housing to the area, as well as retail space. AMCAL is behind the development in partnership with Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD), a local community-based nonprofit. They have entitled it “La Prensa Libre Apartments.”

6233 North Variel Avenue Nearing Structural Height in Woodland Hills

6233 North Variel Avenue is nearing structural height in Woodland Hills. The senior living facility is in development by South Bay Partners, who have built over 10,000 other senior living residences. The highrise was designed by VTBS Architects, of Santa Monica, with interior design by Rodrigo Vargas. The intent was to give the building the feel of a “Boutique hotel.”

“City Lights” Takes Shape at 4531 West Hollywood Boulevard, in East Hollywood

“City Lights,” the new project at 4531 West Hollywood Boulevard, in East Hollywood, has reached structural height. WPIC construction has yet to finish the exterior, but the essential form is visible as the 70.6 feet tall, 438 feet long, 403 feet wide building takes shape, on the busy, corner-shaped lot.
