Thatcher Yard has opened at 3233 South Thatcher Avenue in Venice’s Oxford Triangle, converting a former City maintenance yard into an intergenerational affordable housing community. The project provides 98 income-restricted homes for seniors and families across low-rise buildings topping out at three stories. The 2.14-acre site occupies the block bounded by Thatcher Avenue, Princeton Drive, Oxford Avenue, and Harbor Crossing Lane.
Construction is complete on Joshua Tree Hall and Hibiscus Hall at Cal State Northridge, located at 17950 Lassen Street at the northeast corner of campus at Lassen Street and Zelzah Avenue in University Park. The two buildings rise four stories and together provide 198 student beds in double-occupancy rooms. Move-in is scheduled for Fall 2025. CW Driver Companies is the project developer. AC Martin is the architect of record for the new residence halls.

The address is on the south side of Exposition Boulevard near Amherst and Wellesley, directly along the Expo Line/Bundy segment. The application indicates demolition of two single-family dwellings to enable the project. Local firm Passo is listed as the project developer. Aero Collective is responsible for the designs.
A long-entitled multifamily project known as Riverglen II is under construction at 2624 Riverside Drive, along the west side of Riverside Drive between Glendale Boulevard and Fletcher Drive in the Silver Lake–Echo Park–Elysian Valley Community Plan area. Approvals allowed a series of connected four-story buildings totaling 120 dwellings. The project’s frontage sits immediately west of the I-5 and the Los Angeles River. GMPA Architects is credited as the project architect. City filings list Menlo Trust as the applicant during entitlements.
