Townhomes at 195 Simi Village Drive have been completed, in Simi Valley. The project, by Landsea, is made of 37 separate buildings, ranging in from three to seven attached units, bringing 211 new homes to the area. It has been titled “The Westerly.” The 17 acre site used to stage Simi Valley Days, corn crops, and seasonal pumpkin and Christmas tree lots.

A development has been proposed at 1 Baxter Way, in Thousand Oaks. The site is currently a 386,500 square foot office building that was approved in the late 70’s as headquarters for Prudential Insurance Company. The current owner, Kennedy Wilson, proposes splitting the 43 acre property into two lots, a 34 acre lot with another at 9 acres.

A new apartment complex has been planned for Camino Ruiz and Verdugo Way, in Camarillo. Camino Ruiz LLC is listed as the developer. Twenty very low-income affordable units will be included, with seven studios units, seven one bedroom units, and six two bedroom units. An additional twenty moderate-income affordable units will be provided with seven studios units, seven one bedroom units, and six two bedroom units.
