New affordable housing will soon be on the market in North Hollywood at 6329 Clybourn Street. The project proposal includes the construction of multi-family apartments reserved for low-income households. Non-profits Abbey Road and Linc Housing are the project developers. KFA Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.
A preliminary application has been submitted to the City Planning Commission seeking the approval of mixed-use development. A multi-family housing with retail space could soon replace the existing commercial buildings in North Hollywood.
“Juliette” recently opened at 11246 West Otsego Street, in North Hollywood. Los Angeles-based LJ Properties is the developer. The residential building will add low-income housing to the central location that has a WalkScore of 94.
Exterior work is wrapping up at 5525 Case Avenue in North Hollywood. The project will bring denser housing to the area. The location is directly across the street from East Valley High School.
On January 14, 2021 the city of Los Angeles approved the construction of a mixed use building with the intention of serving as a space for visual and performing artists which will include office suites and self storage units. Located at 5458 North Vineland Avenue, North Hollywood this new construction will serve as a new hub of the ever growing Los Angeles art scene. The project is derived from the minds of 1784 Capital Holdings who want to aid the needs of artists of all levels and skill sets.
