Los Angeles based developer, Category Company has filed for permits seeking the approval of constructing a new multi-family housing building. The project proposal also includes the demolition of two single-family dwellings and a commercial structure on site.
Bittoni Architects is managing the design concept and construction of the housing redevelopment.

Affordable Residences Planned For 801-809 E Santa Ana Boulevard, Los Angeles

Affordable housing has been proposed on a vacant lot fronting the Santa Ana railroad at 801-809 E Santa Ana Boulevard. The project proposal includes constructing affordable residences for applicants earning less than 30 percent of the area’s median income for 55 years.
HomeAid Orange County is the non-profit developer invested in the project. Bassenian Lagoni Architects is managing the design concepts and construction of the housing development.

Last year, the City of Gardena approved development permits to construct townhomes at 2129 Rosecrans Avenue and now the residences are available on the market. The project site was occupied by an office building and an automobile repair business near the northeast corner of Rosecrans and Van Ness Avenues. G3 Urban cleared up the industrial site and is managing the design concepts and construction.

Los Angeles-based investor, Beverly Hills Land Company, has proposed plans to construct an office complex along a railroad at 9220 N Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly Hills. The proposal includes the construction and operation of up to eleven new office buildings. The Project Site has frontages along Santa Monica Boulevard, Civic Center Drive, and Beverly Boulevard.
Gensler is managing the design concepts and construction of the project. Hocker is managing the landscape architecture.

The project is a part of bigger project aimed at expanding Fairmont’s Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. The Miramar owns a parking lot across the street at 1127 Second Street, where the housing project will be built.
Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is responsible for design concepts and construction. Landscape architecture firm Gustafson Guthrie Nichol is designing approximately 14,000 square feet of landscaped spaces. MSD Capital is the project developer.
