The project, entitled “Nexen,” is a partnership between Jamison Services and City Century, who filed for a $27 million permit valuation. The seven-story structure is beginning to take shape on a parcel once occupied by surface parking and a single-story commercial building.

Jamison Properties has nearly reached structural height at 2880 West James M. Wood Boulevard, also referred to as 900 Vermont street. The building is one of several developments taking place in Koreatown. The property is part of the Transit Oriented Communities incentive program, with the Wilshire/Vermont subway station a couple of blocks away, transporting the purple and red lines.
