The planned community, by Comstock Homes, will bolster growth in the somewhat rural community, a short drive from both Santa Clarita and Moorpark. Local attractions include close schools, a historic downtown, and a local winery.
Mountain View apartments are rising at 220 Santa Clara Street, in Fillmore. The project will provide low income housing to residents. Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura is the joint venture partner, with funding from several sources, including Ventura County Housing Trust Fund Acquisition Loan, County of Ventura CDBG Funds, State Funds, and a conventional permanent loan.
Harvest Limoneria is in various stages of development, in Santa Paula, at 1898 Harvest Loop. The planned community is located off of the 126. It will bring a wealth of largely single family homes to the area. Limoneira Lewis Community Builders, LLC is the developer for the project.
