New renderings have been released for 151 South Olive Street, in Downtown Los Angeles. The long anticipated project will realize the vision of legendary Frank Gehry, who also designed the Disney Concert Hall, across the street. Residents are expected to start moving in in early 2022, according to a website dedicated to the site by developer Related Companies.
After seven years, City Council has finally granted approvals for a car wash redevelopment project proposed at 949 South Figueroa Street in Downtown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of downtown’s most outdated carwash with a high-rise building. City Council approved a master conditional use permit and a transfer of floor area rights agreement for the tower.
Monrovia-based architecture firm Nardi Associates is responsible for the design concepts.
A new modular residential tower will soon be seen at 845 Olive Street in downtown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of an asphalt parking lot into a residential high-rise with 19 stories. Plans for the tower were approved in 2019. Hollywood-based real estate firm Relevant Group is the project developer. Gensler is responsible for the design concepts.

The new development will replace a portion of the building’s plaza and parking structure. New York-based real estate firm Brookfield is the project developer. LARGE Architecture is responsible for the design concepts. Relm Studio is managing the landscape architecture.
Plans to construct a high-rise apartment tower at 1123-1161 South Main Street in downtown Los Angeles have been revealed. The project proposal includes the development of a 30-story mixed-use development, replacing a series of retail buildings on the site. Local real estate firm Jade Enterprises is the project developer. MVE + Partners is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
