Hollywood To Welcome a New Mixed-Use Building On Argyle Avenue and Selma Street

A vacant commercial building will soon provide housing to Hollywood residents. A mixed-use project at 1546 North Argyle Avenue and 6224 West Selma Street has been approved to take shape from the longtime base of Ametron Electronics. The project proposal consists of the construction of a seven-story building with residential units, retail space, and a subterranean parking garage.
Mill Creek Residential Trust is going to develop this project. AC Martin is managing the design concepts and construction.

A new residential project has successfully broken ground and began construction at 1410 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood. The project proposal consists of micro-unit apartments that will replace an auto repair shop.
The project is a joint venture between ELK Development and Sixty West, which have secured funding worth $41.1-million. OfficeUntitled is managing the design concept and construction.

“Wallace on Sunset” has opened in Hollywood. The property, located at 6240 Sunset Boulevard, was developed by Essex Property Trust. It is named after the famous performer Beryl Wallace, who, in the 1930s, used to perform at the historic Earl Carroll theater next door.

New residential and commercial development is expected for 1233 North Highland Avenue and 1242 North Citrus Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Webcore Construction, of Alameda, is the major contractor behind the project. Kilroy is the developer, aiming to make the city block reflect a modern-day work environment.

The “Lumina” in Hollywood is starting to fill up with residents at 5929 West Sunset Boulevard. The project has changed ownership several times, but most recently, it was developed by CIM Group, although they had to make updates replicate the historic street front, with retail space.
