Global real estate firm, Silverstein Properties, announced plans for a $60 million capital improvement program for the U.S. Bank Tower in downtown Los Angeles. The proposed program intends to upgrade and reposition the tower. A+I and Jeffrey Beers International are leading the design concepts and improvements.
Los Angeles City Planning Commission has finally approved the construction of what will soon rise as the fourth tallest building in Los Angeles at 1045 South Olive Street. The project proposal includes the construction of a 70-story structure feature hundreds of residential units, on-site parking, and retail space. The project will move forward after the existing commercial buildings on the project site are demolished. Miami-based developer, Crescent Heights is going to develop the project. ODA is managing the design concepts and construction.
Facade installation is nearly complete for “Alta Ink,” a residential development at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project is by Wood Partners. It will bring street-front commercial space and additional multi-family housing to Hollywood.
A mix of housing, office space, and more could be seen in Downtown Los Angeles. The project proposal includes replacing the existing cold storage facility with a new mixed-use facility consisting of ten buildings ranging from two to forty-two stories in height.
Denver-based developer, Continuum Partners, is developing this project in an industrial area at the neighborhood’s border with Little Tokyo and Skid Row. The architecture firm, Studio One Eleven, is developing the master plan.
1000 West Temple is nearing structural height in Downtown Los Angles. The massive development, by GH Palmer Associates, will bring 1150 units to the area. Like their other developments, it will have an Italian Renaissance-inspired appearance. It is being built out in phases on the ten-acre property.
