Exterior paneling is rising at Figueroa & Pico, in Downtown Los Angeles. The project, by Lightstone Group, will significantly boost hotel accommodations across the street from the convention center, as well as other venues close by. Developers aim to improve the pedestrian experience in the area, and street frontage, in a phased approach. There will be three towers in total.
A new residential project broke ground, and site preparation has been initiated at 3657 South Motor Avenue in Palms, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a residential complex with commercial space and on-site parking. Los Angeles-based entity Wiseman Residential is the project developer. Uriu & Associates is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
A new mixed-use development, including a 36 story tower, is planned for the Arts District, at 2143 E Violet Street. Canadian-based Onni Group is the developer. The 2.2-acre site will retain a couple of existing buildings while bringing denser commercial and residential space to the area.
Work has finished at 1856 South Wilton Place, in Harvard Heights, Los Angeles. The development is intended for low-income and homeless seniors. Hollywood Community Housing Corporation was elected to lead the new building plans as one of the first developments to utilize city-sponsored supportive housing, Prop HHH. The project has been entitled “Gramercy Place Apartments.”
A massive new storage facility is coming to 1812 West Venice Boulevard, in Harvard Heights. The site is across the street from Loyola High School. Hidden Properties is the developer behind the project, which renderings depict as a StorQuest Self Storage.
