Car Wash Redevelopment At 949 South Figueroa Street In Downtown Gets Final Redevelopment Approval

After seven years, City Council has finally granted approvals for a car wash redevelopment project proposed at 949 South Figueroa Street in Downtown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of downtown’s most outdated carwash with a high-rise building. City Council approved a master conditional use permit and a transfer of floor area rights agreement for the tower.
Monrovia-based architecture firm Nardi Associates is responsible for the design concepts.

Four years after its announcement and groundbreaking, a mixed-use apartment complex has neared completion at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story mixed-use building featuring commercial and residential spaces. Atlanta-based firm Wood Partners is the project developer. Carrier Johnson + Culture is responsible for the design concepts.

Ground has broken at 4th Street and Main Street, in Santa Ana. The brand new project is being built in the city’s downtown by Toll Brothers Apartment Living and partner EJF Capital. It is “The first luxury multifamily community to be built here in decades,” according to Charles Elliott, president of Toll Brothers Apartment Living. “The Rafferty” is the Company’s Second Multifamily Community in the larger area of Orange County.
