Excavation has started at 520 South Mateo Street. The project is in development by Carmel Partners, a firm with offices from Hawaii to New York. The building aims to be the first high-rise in Los Angeles’ historic Arts District.
With the recent approval from the city of Los Angeles, 1300 Westwood Development LLC have been cleared for the construction of a new multi-family living space. Located at 1300 South Westwood Boulevard this new project will be surrounded by commercial businesses, retail and offices as well as being located near the Westwood Gardens Park. The site will also be within walking distance from the future Metro Purple Line Rail and Metro Rapid 720 bus line.
The exterior of The Kurve on Wilshire, at 2801 West Sunset Place, is nearly finished. The project is being developed by Hankey Investment Company, which has a 35 year track record in Southern California. The $300M, mixed-use, highrise development will feature luxury rental apartments and retail in the 2900 block of Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown.
Construction has started at 744 South Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The project is being developed by Mitsui Fudosan America. When completed, sky decks at the top of the building will offer views of the Financial District and vistas to the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Ocean, and beyond.
Construction has progressed for a new six-story market gateway development at 213 E. Regent Street, Inglewood. Named Inglewood Market Gateway, it is a transit-oriented mixed-use development with five levels of residential units, retail, and commercial spaces.
