Landsea Homes has finalized the acquisition of 70 homesites for its upcoming residential project, Canopy, situated in Ontario, California. The project will bring new three-story townhomes to Ontario, meeting the rising need for housing in the region. The site is located at 1355 West 5th Street, nestled between El Camino Elementary School and the Ontario First Church of the Nazarene.

ETZ Development is leading the project, with design by architect Jamie Matz. The six-story mixed-use project—now branded The Brightly—introduces a blend of residential living and commercial activity to a major transit-accessible hub. Led by Braum Construction & Management, the project combines construction, development, and management under one roof. The Ketter Group is responsible for the designs.

The project proposal includes the development of a new affordable residential complex offering 93 affordable housing options. Plans call for the demolition of the existing commercial buildings on the site. Non-profit developer Hollywood Community Housing Corp (HCHC) is listed as the project developer.
