Construction has begun and facade development can be seen up to the fourth floor of a supportive housing project at 660 South Stanford Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story housing development. The project replaced a three-story fifty-unit single-room occupancy apartment building. Westwood-based Meta Housing Corp is the project developer. KFA Architects and Jag Architects have teamed up to conceptualize the design and manage the construction. RD Olson Construction is the general contractor.

“The Roy,” at 33644 Overland Avenue, has opened in Palms. Anejo Development and Griffin Opportunities collaborated in the development of the site, which used to have several smaller residential buildings. The property is now much denser, with added retail space.

Mixed-Use Project Under Construction In Little Saigon District, Westminster

Large-scale residential development is under construction in the Little Saigon District, Westminster. The project proposal includes the construction of 200 apartments. The project broke ground in March 2020 and now wood framing can be seen above the street level. The development is a part of a bigger project named Bolsa Row. KTGY Architecture + Planning is managing the design concepts and construction. RD Olson Construction is the project developer.

The recently approved project proposal includes the construction of townhomes on a vacant hillside property. In addition to adopting the environmental report, the Los Angeles City Council also approves a zone change required for the construction of the project to commence. By Community Corp. of Santa Monica, the project is their first venture outside of Santa Monica and part of a larger plant to expand throughout the Westside. They have entitled the project “Vista Ballona.”
