The exterior of 3960 South Grand View Boulevard is taking shape in Mar Vista on the Westside of Los Angeles. By Community Corp. of Santa Monica, the project is their first venture outside of Santa Monica and part of a larger plant to expand throughout the Westside. They have entitled the project “Vista Ballona.”
Rebar is starting to rise at 3688 South Overland Avenue, in Palms. The project will bring denser housing, as well as ground-floor commercial space to the area. Oakmont Capital is the developer of the project. Recently, another large development, “The Roy,” was completed next door, and another down the street, “The Jagger,” is on the way.
The exterior can be seen taking shape at 1501 West 8th Street in Westlake, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes constructing a five-story mixed-use development consisting of residences and retail space on a parcel previously housing a commercial building from the 1920s. 4Site Real Estate is the project developer. Tighe Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.
Construction has topped out at 3766 South Motor Avenue, in Palms. Premier League is the developer behind the project. The site received a 70 percent density bonus, bringing additional housing, some low-income housing, as well as ground-level commercial space, to the area. The location previously had a couple of smaller residential buildings.
Exterior work is nearing completion at 3737 South Motor Avenue in Palms, Los Angeles. Focus Builders are the primary contractor behind the project. The development will provide denser housing, as well as low-income housing, and some commercial space to the popular street that has seen several new developments take shape of the last couple of years.
