The project proposal includes constructing a cafe with dog lounges and an artist studio intended to offer pet rescue services and recreational spaces for pets and people alike. Construction crews are in the process of excavation for a seven-story mixed-use apartment building at 1630 North Schrader Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Dubbed the Hollywood Arts Collective, the $120 million project will replace a 149-car surface parking lot with affordable housing for artists, performing arts space, gallery, and rehearsal studios.
