A new townhome development has been proposed for a site at 13615-13633 South Vermont Avenue, Gardena, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes redeveloping a nursery into a townhome community. Irvine-based Melia Homes is the project developer. San Diego-based firm Summa Architecture is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
5850 West Jefferson Boulevard has been approved by the city, and is expected to break ground this year in Baldwin Hills. Samitaur is the development firm behind the building. The team is also behind (W)rapper, currently under construction a short distance away, in the rapidly developing neighborhood.
3000 Crenshaw has yet to break ground in West Adams District. CIM Group is behind the project. The development, “Aims to bring value to the neighborhood by creating more employment opportunities while enhancing the walkability and streetscape of Crenshaw Boulevard.”
The Los Angeles City Planning Commission signed off on a residential project proposed at 13921 Vanowen Street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a multi-family apartment complex replacing a series of empty residences from the 1940s and 1950s. Vanowen Terrace, LLC is the property owner. Local architect Amit Apel is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
3617 West Venice Blvd is taking shape, in Arlington Heights. The project will bring a couple of low income housing units, and denser housing overall, to the area. Schon Tepler Group is the developer behind the project.
