A development is planned for the Southeast corner of Agoura and Cornell Roads, in Agoura Hills. The project, by Doron Gelfand and Ossie Ben Tov, of Agoura and Cornell Roads LP, plan to develop the site with a variety of new uses. It will include 47,900 square feet of dwelling units, 17,800 square feet of office space, and 25,000 square feet of retail.
Four years after the announcement, a new high-rise mixed-use project has been given the go-ahead for development at 1111 Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a mixed-use development at the former home of the Metropolitan Water District just north of downtown. Three towers are slated for the former MWD headquarters campus. Los Angeles-based entity Palisades is the project developer. The project is being designed by a team which includes architecture firms SOM, Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Architects, and Kengo Kuma & Associates, each of which is responsible for one of the three planned high-rise buildings.
